Matthew, Diploma of Communication, Australia

“After two incomplete degrees in Canberra, I had all but given up on going back to study. Thankfully, through the advice of a friend, I applied to Bond and was accepted to study my Diploma of Communication. Filled with the obligatory nerves of a first day student, I was quickly reassured within my first few hours at Bond that this was not something I needed to be nervous about.

Studying the diploma provides a platform for students to ease themselves into study. Smaller class sizes, passionate staff and the diploma's structure removes a lot of stress from students’ minds. Students can focus on improving their academic skills, instead of being worried about timetabling and class registration. Bond University College is able to provide a student-staff connection lacking at most universities, something that certainly helped me to no end.

The welcoming, encouraging and friendly attitude of every staff member I came in contact with played a big role in making me feel welcome and excited about undertaking study here. This excitement has not dwindled in the slightest throughout my 5 semesters at Bond. I appreciated the support given to students combined with their experience, drive and passion push each and every student to fulfil their potential, regardless of their area of study. This in conjunction with the facilities, support structures and social nature of the University makes this a place that will not only give you outstanding academic opportunities, but networking and social opportunities that will be around long after you've finished your degree.”
