There are two accommodation options available for Bond University College students- either Homestay or off campus accommodation.
Homestay accommodation is compulsory for students aged under 18 years studying at Bond University College on a student visa. However, we recommend this as an option for all students for at least the first four weeks of your stay to help you settle into your new life and find your way around.
You’ll live with a local family where you can practice your English every day and learn more about the Australian way of life. Our homestay families are carefully selected for their suitability to host students and their understanding of the challenges you may encounter, as well as their proximity to the Bond University campus.
Homestay packages include a shared or single room with study facilities and meals. Room-only options are also available for students aged 18 years and over.
Homestay payment terms
- Homestay accommodation fees are payable to the Australian Homestay Network.
- Students may not enter homestay accommodation more than 7 days before program commencement and may not stay more than 7 days after the program has finished.
- Students must provide 2 weeks’ notice to AHN prior to finishing homestay.
Applying for homestay accommodation
Step 1: Complete your online program application.
Step 2: On completion of your online application, if you require homestay accommodation, you will be redirected to the AHN website to book your homestay.
